I thought I didn't have any resolutions, but I've come up with one, yay! I'm going to finish all these books I've started.

Hello, new friend! (:
The Portrait of Dorian Gray is such the book. I haven't read any book like that again. It's just amazing.

Hello :) mm, yes, it's good, I just haven't got very far. It's difficult trying to read 10 books at once.

ATM am reading... well, all of the above technically, but I'm trying to finish "And Another Thing" which is a part of the Hitchhiker's Guide series and "American Gods" first. But I don't really like American Gods so far.

I really like your list. I'd make one too, except for how I just end up focusing on mandatory reads anyway. XD

You know, once upon a daydream I was going to read English and I was not half bad at it - I can waffle in a style that the teacher admired very easily. But I think the mandatory reads and ridiculous essay titles would have slowly chipped away at my soul.

I don't know. I -- kind of am of the opinion that you would be ridiculously gifted if you went in this field. But on the other hand, as a scientific, you'll rock like a hurricane, so. >:)

Well, that's very kind of you, but I never had much patience for analysis. I just like reading and writing and I don't care much for essays, possibly for the reason given on your icon. I got good marks and all, but my essays were always "too concise" because I didn't state the obvious enough or make up enough subtext/allusions that the author clearly didn't intend.

Yeah... no patience.
