My first playthrough was a Dalish and I sat there during that whole, "We can't be together" speech thinking, "You spineless jellyfish! FIGHT FOR ME! TELL THEM THAT THE KING DOES WHAT AND WHO HE WANTS!!" Too bad BioWare can't retroactively read my mind.

This was so touching. Thank you for sharing.
