Wow, this made my head hurt, but in a good way! All the grief and angst you would expect from Dean...the caustic interactions with Death (with yummy treats no less)...and Sammy, ever the sweet loveable smart kid adoring his big brother.

I really like how you wove all that together and made sense out of it.

oh my God I am a bitch for any and all things that even look a little bit like time travel and this looks a lot like time traveling with teen!Sam and adult!Dean. I adore the way you wrote it this way because I feel like when I usually read this trope it's done the other way around with teen!Dean and adult!Sam, and you did it so marvelously with all of the right characterizations and lines and Dean's angst was perfect.

And Death <33333 bamfiest character ever in my opinion and then he was there and this is amazing.

Ultimate same. He is one of my (if not the ) favorite minor characters from the show and they did such a good job writing him that it stuns me.
