John Barrowman as the British Prime Minister : I suspect this will involve the entire country learning the gesture by which one spots a hardcore Barrowman fan (the sane ones, anyway) :

:muses: it would at least provide ample material for the satirists - both the cartoonists and Rory Bremner and his lot. Mind you, this would mean that they'd have to learn to sing. And just think, an *attractive* Prime Minister and Prime Minister's husband! Mind you, speeches at the party conference would be interesting - the man can't read from an autocue or set of notes to save his life.

yep. it's how you tell the hardcore fans in audiences. Everyone else, when he makes a comment that is lewd or otherwise : *gawps*. Hardcore : *facepalm*. (or the other classic, the eyeroll of 'not this bloody story again....')

Was at the taping of Friday night project, and there were two rows of the lot who'd got their seats through the fan mailing list. He made a comment, and the row I was on didn't giggle nervously, or laugh, or gawp as the rest did, we all facepalmed as one and groaned.

Sorry, but reading LJ posts about John Barrowman becoming BPM is MUNDANE DREAMING. And I miss it.

I was just wondering why all the coolest people ever are online and aren't my real life friends.
You have to be one of the coolest people ever--Doctor Who, Tamora Pierce, Chronicles of Narnia, and other things. The awesomeness is overwhelming.
Also, your dreams are on crack? My dreams are always on crack! I have the craziest dreams ever.
