Hmm, High King Peter the Hypocritical? This is a development.

For some reason, I badly want to hear Lucy's conversation with Caspian. Those two just aren't getting enough interaction of late...

High King Peter The Victim Of An English Sexuality Crisis, really...

Last time I had nearly a thousand words of Lucy and Caspian!

I don't think I'm going to write that EXACT conversation between Lucy and Caspian, but there is one coming which will involve Lucy, Edmund, Caspian and assorted others sitting around and being jovial. And I think Lucy will get to tell Caspian all about the first time Edmund tied up a Telmarine :P

Everytime you write Edmund, I like him more.

See, I like him a bit less this time. Snotty little rat. He was truly horrible to Susan. Serves him right if he gets a week worth of Caspian-related angst.

He was horrible to her, but it creates depth to his character. I like current Edmund more, old Edmund- well, he still hadn't learned all his lessons yet.

On that note, what did happen to Susan? The narrator's voice hints that... well, that it wasn't entirely her idea.

He didn't REALISE he was being horrible to her. He was rulebound and sexually repressed up to his ears, poor chap.

I don't know whose idea it was. Maybe hers. Wouldn't surprise me if it was. I don't think she went unwillingly, but she was certainly unprepared. I think what happened was a matter of overestimating her sexual/emotional maturity, which is easy enough to do, given her advanced social and political maturity as Queen.

I love them both so much... :s I really need to write something which explains how Lucy got from the utter wreck she was in Lady of the House to this confident little creature she is now, though.

Because I adore her and I want to write her more, too :)
