More BARE icons!

Making icons is a good relaxation technique. Requires focus and a (relatively) steady hand.

Well, I must admit I don't know BARE, but I am very impressed at your ability to make icons. I have no such ability. Icons look at me, snicker, give me the finger, and then run away.

Oh, you should DEFINITELY get to know BARE! Go and read the plot synopsis and listen to the MP3 clips!

And thanks for the complimentariness! Photo manip is about the only artistic thing I can do- and even then, not very well. I can do it once I've learnt to use a particular tool, but I don't really have the knack for experimenting with different tools. I keep signing up to icon tutorials and getting incredibly lost because they use fifteen different tools at once!

These are almost all two layers, with blend mode and maybe some fiddling with the colour on the top layer, and then I whack on the text and call it a day. I wish I knew things like how to stop Peter's face turning into a white blur in the Pilgrim's Hands ones... but I suspect the solution involves painstakingly selecting around him and/or his head, and I don't have a steady enough hand for that.

i can sketch, but photomanipulation is out of my league. I even got photoshop with my school for a discounted price and i can't use it. *cries*
