I totally have other things to say, but I think it's all got lost in a swirl of trying to drag 5th century, post-Roman-Britain into a place where I can also have guns and casinos, but

Drive by title dropping: The Song of Sir Rod the Long: A Gay Romance of the Round Table by Larry Howard (San Jose, CA: Writers Club Press, 2000). When it comes to Arthuriana, you don't even need fandom some days--there are professional authors who are very happy to collect your money for you. *grin*

god DAMN it. Libraries Australia have locked their database, so I can't find out if it's available anywhere :(
