Okay, so I've still got a soft spot for your Wayne after all these years. I love how laidback he is yet with this enormous work ethic, his willingness to go with the flow even when he goes after the girl he wants, and his healthy respect for his mum! (And for women in general.) He really emerges as a complex and lovable character even in 500 words. And it's nice to see Eloise Midgen get some love! Especially from a good guy like Wayne. :)

I am so sorry I didn't get a chance to read this until now! We had company this weekend! This was so lovely-- I love the idea of Wayne trying to make himself slow down enough to enjoy something, and I love the Pansy cameo! Since Eloise wasn't mine, I thought writing Wayne would be good? It took some research and re-reading, but I like how it flowed and I think it could be very likely in a few years post-RA! I'm so glad you enjoyed it <333
