NEVILLE!!!! Yeah!!! I love Hermione/Neville and can never find any!

She is a smart girl, I want to kiss Neville too!! Hermione trying to not think of Ron that way because she doesn't want to become bitter... that is such a true thing that people do! Sometimes forgiving is more for the person giving than receiving, and this shows that. I also love that she finds being happy for Ron to be so exhausting. Also a very true thing that happens.

YAY! Since you didn't give me a pairing, I went back to the older poll and saw what characters you chose. For some reason, this idea came to mind for Neville/Hermione! I'm SO glad you liked it. I am also happy that you like the characterization and feel it reads "real" in those aspects. ♥

Oh, I loved that! This story made me feel all warm inside with affection for these two. This line - it’s just challenging on her to play the part of the accepting ex-wife and to constantly be on alert to be happy for them even as she aches at how quickly it’s all happened was just so to the point and made me ache for Hermione. I think you did a great job in so few words in showing the complexity of her situation; the combination of pragmatism and hurt and the refusal to give into bitterness as a sort of emotional self-preservation were all a very Hermione way to tackle things. I love that she let out that scream of frustration that showed the storm of emotions she's been repressing.

And “You, uh, tears, too.” Oh, Neville Longbottom, let me hug you forever and ever! ♥ He is so smashingly lovely here. I love that he's got adept at flying and that these two former broomstick klutzes (maybe not so former in Hermione's case) are relaxing with a flying lap over the Hogwarts grounds. And I love that he was so blunt and uncompromising about

YAY! I adored writing this fic, and I just find these two so sweet in a dynamic that I don't often write but so enjoy when I do. Hermione in my head is very loyal towards Neville because he was her first friend, and it didn't take a troll to make it that way. [BTW, I know you don't like Ron smut, but the Ron/Hermione/Neville might be acceptable as it's mostly Hermione/Neville!] I'm so very pleased you enjoyed this and their dynamic and how sweet it was with that little bit of angst to balance it. <333
