Eee! This was amazing! Very well written, and you did a great job handling such a dark subject. Ron and Harry seemed very in character, especially, and I really liked Harry and Charlie's relationship, and how Hermione was able to see in their relationship what her own with David had lacked. Also, the idea of Hermione using thought as an escape-mechanism worked really well, and seemed very in character for her. And I really liked the ending bringing it full circle like it did. Also (I keep thinking of more things I liked!), I appreciated Hermione getting back into who she was before - helping animals, thinking about goblin relations, etc. - but also having to think about exactly who she is. I think you showed the slow process of recovery she has ahead of her very well.

Sorry for my slightly rambling comment, and (on an unrelated note) I'm really sorry I got sick and missed meeting you! I'm mostly better now, thankfully.

This was a phenomonal piece. I was just checking my f-list before going to bed, but then I started reading (and crying! it was very sad and touching) and now I'll be going to sleep, thirty minutes later.
