Usually, I wouldn't do this, but I think you would like to know... I noticed something that seems like an error. Those recent thoughts that he’s been having recently about his best friend need to be forgotten, ignored, and safely pushed away. you say recent and then say recently and I think it wasn't meant to be that way.

Anyway, I just love your writig and this prequel chapter is fantastic!
