Hee- PIKE!! Yay! I'm glad to see him, even if Jim wants to punch 'im.

“Yeah, well, we’re not getting any cats.”

That line makes me almost as happy as the glorious sex from the previous chapters. He's already thinking long term and Bones realizes it.

And I could totally be wrong, but I thought Spock was the one that promoted Bones? I'm probably wrong about that though, and I love the thought of Bones sassing off to his actual captain even better than him telling off just the "acting" captain.
