Interesting. You really managed to create some mystery with the clothed wand. This fic leaves me with so many questions that it's almost frustrating, and that's a hard thing to accomplish with such a short piece.

Doubley intrigued. I was already intrigued by Mr Ollivander because the books present him so ambiguously. Now I'm doubley intrigued. Thanks for sharing - you already know it, but these are fabulous.

Is that Ron's replacement wand? Nice characterization, though I probably would have given Ollivander some obscure first name.

Wow, this was fabulous. I'm truly amazed by what you can do with such a short story. I love what you've done with Mr. Olivander, even though he's a bigger mystery here than he is in the books. Very interesting.
