Wow! I wonder how my cats would like that. There's nothing to be done for my parrots' molt.

Does it appear to hurt the animal?

No, my dogs LOVE it, but they like brushing in general, and my cat tolerated it, and BOY did I get a lot of hair off the cat! You just use a lighter touch than a regular brush.

What did you pay for it? I need to go to the feed store tomorrow to get some HeartGard for Callie and I'm thinking of getting one for her and the cats since the site says they carry them...we always have animal hair everywhere on everything, especially cat hair.

It was about $35 for a medium sized one, its going on Ebay for much the same price so save the shipping. I can imagine if you have a dog that needs frequent grooming and brushing that this can only save you time in the end. I bought it totally thinking it would never be worth the hype or the price, and figured I would take it back, until it proved me wrong!

that thing looks awesome!
the pictures are funny, especially the cat. the dogs look good, but the cat is all stringy and thinned out. (i so wouldn't care how it looked in the end if i had a cat though.)
