I am amazed at the very healthy items I bought today grocery shopping. I'm rather happy I got my bike tuned up. I'm proud that I took my car in and got the oil changed and a brake light fixed.

All before noon!

I am going to be making a dessert for a pot luck dinner tonight -- also for one tomorrow.

Any good ideas?

i never go wrong with this recipe, although i do use a pre-made crust.

do not, i repeat, do not use pre-packaged key lime juice. it tastes like floor polish.

i have a little citrus press that squeezes the limes perfectly!
it is a very fast recipe....

this recipe for fudge crostata with raspberry sauce is super easy, and INSANELY good. pre-made pie shell...some chocolate, ground-up almonds, and the usual baking suspects...and some frozen raspberries blended and cooked into a sauce. serve it with whipped cream. cartoonists, step-dads, and neighbors agree!

a REALLY easy dessert that is delicious is:

1 package nabisco chocolate chip cookies
1 cup of milk
1 package of cool whip
chocolate syrup & any type of roasted nut**(walnut, pecan, etc)**these are optional

dip the cookies in milk and then layer with cool whip and the additional nuts/chocolate...keep layering until all ingredients are gone. it's delicious and fun to make... serve with plates and a big spoon to scoop it out!

I was soliciting desserts to make -- it seems that most desserts aren't very healthy items!
