(I feel lucky that I don't have to research the Holocaust as much as you. Battles and military rankings cause fewer fits of sobbing.)

Good girl :)
Is that femmeslash I see? I...am surprisingly interested!
Heh. It might be, sortakinda. It just seemed like something Eva would do. Do you think I need to put a warning on the fic? ;)
Though Eden really ought to be spending time with Mohinder, since Sylar ain't gonna do it.
LOL! She will, though I'm still working out the nature of their relationship.
I rather liked that whole bit, actually...it feels real, and slightly depressing, which makes it more real. Is it strange to say that I want to see more death-camp stuff? This story induces me to say many things about the Holocaust one would not normally say.
Yes, I'd noticed that! Well, there will be more camp-based stuff before the story is out - there are too many things to be said about it, really, but if the story was entirely focused on the camps, it would be so depressing that nobody would read it anymore.
(How's your story coming? And when can we expect another chapter of the BDPS?)

(It's going good! I've got a file full of about 11,000 words' worth of stuff, and at least 10,000 of it is stuff I'm definitely going to use. It's all disconnected--bits and pieces, character dossiers, random small scenes--but I think the story's going to be like that. The BDPS will update again tomorrow, 'cause I think three days is a suitable time period between chapters. Once a week is too few, once a day is too many...so, every three days.)

it's a Holocaust AU, people expect it to be less-than-pleasant. :P
Oh good! IYSWIM.

Cool! Can't wait to read. And the next BDPS! :)

Fantastic, as usual.

Did enjoy her interaction with Eva, though. Thought it spoke volumes on both of them.
Thank you. That one just jumped out at me sometime last week - it seemed to fit.
Glad you liked :)

Oh... Yeah, I never would've got that... [laugh] I kept going, "Who has a "D" name? Dale? But that doesn't sound like her...."

Nah, no Dale. Yet. Maybe I'll throw her in later and she can smack Sylar upside the head with a wrench. Karmic revenge ;)

I didn't get Dita either, until I checked the tags, but this:
"I live- lived on a barge. A houseboat."
Really should've tipped me off. Very clever.
And Mohinder being all gentlemanly...very sweet.
Peter being nervous/kinda jealous of Bennetti makes me want to pet him...but Claude being so protective and comforting and sweet kind of makes me unnecessary.
Great job, again.

Yeah ... Westerbork was sortakinda okay (in the sense of being less bad), but all future camp-based stuff is going to be Grim As Hell. Sorry in advance.

*g* I'm glad someone picked up on that! Don't worry that you didn't get the name - it was a big stretch.

Well, he is ;)

Ah, love triangles ... ;)
Glad you enjoyed! I had a lot of fun writing this, for all that some of it is grim. Think I got my Safe mojo back, lately :)

*g* I'm glad someone picked up on that!- Of course! That's why I love this so much, those little touches that kind of translate stuff from our reality to theirs (Hiro liking HG Wells was a personal favorite).
Well, he is ;)- And even in the worst situations...aww, Mohinder. He needs love too.
Ah, love triangles ... ;)- *snort*. Yeah, I think for it to count as a love triangle there needs to be interaction (or, you know interaction between all three of the participants.)
Think I got my Safe mojo back, lately :)- YAY! That is good news.

Hee. I'll attach warnings, as appropriate.

*g* Thank you. I have fun with that stuff.
aww, Mohinder. He needs love too.
He does ... although this story is not so much about him, so we'll see where that ends up.

Nah - even if one side of it is long dissolved, it's still a triangle, I reckon. And once they've dropped Sandrine off at her sister's, it will be just the three of them, and OMG, I hope I can do that chapter justice.
And *laughs* you are not getting a Claude/Peter/Bennet threesome in this fic. No. Although: hee.
And yes, I'm very relieved that my story mojo is back. Hope it sticks around!

I can't really think of what else to say being that I need to go to sleep, but excellent chapter :)
