Nice bit of backstory between them. Well-done.

Why don't I write this 'ship? Good question. I was thinking about this, and I think it's because story doesn't jump out at me for them the way it does with Plaude. I really enjoy reading other people's Petrelli stuff, but I can never think of any of it for myself that hasn't already been covered much better by someone else.

And this line:
And Peter fights that; wants his brother, not this easy, dismissive simulacrum. "No." Voice stubborn, petulant. "Tani, whatever you think this is, you have to tell me. We can't have secrets- we shouldn't have secrets."
I loved...special points for "simulacrum", great word.
Loved the whole thing, really, very nice interaction between the two.
Question: How far back in time is this? Or will we find out about that later? Oh, and does Nathan really not have any powers? So, really, that should be "Questions"...

*squees about special points for 'simulacrum' ... I'd say Peter's been reading Boudrillard, but until he works out time-travel for himself, that's gonna be problematic ;)

You can infer from other bits of the story (tiny bits, don't worry; I don't expect people to keep track of these things) that this is a few (4ish?) years ago.
Oh, and does Nathan really not have any powers?
Well, that'd be telling, wouldn't it? ;)

thanks for Claude's not exactly free-shot.
Oh good, someone caught that! Wasn't sure ;)
*waits for some Claude-backstory now*
I'm still not sure where I'm going to throw that in ... maybe in a little while it might be appropriate as a flashback.
Thanks for reading! :)

Bearded gentlemen can't go unnoticed. Don't know why, but the word gentleman applied to Claude makes me smile like a fool.

It's alright, hun, I'll take whatever you want to give us.

LOL! Yes, it's not a word that gets used much, about him. Shame, really.
