Thank you! It sounds like such a fun series. I will have to check it out.
And, wow, that's quite a Gwen in all of her complexity. I like the anger here; it's appropriate, albeit, as she recognizes, unreasonable. I wouldn't be surprised if she weren't a little angry with Gaius and Arthur too.
You're welcome! It really is a fun series. I'm glad I was able to convey the characters even though you haven't read it. :D
Thank you! I have a hard time writing Gwen, so I'm glad you think I captured her. Yes-- there was a reason I said unreasonable, because it is appropiate. There's definitely a lot of anger there, but there was only so much I could do in a drabble.
The format certainly requires economy and precision, which is why I'm writing ficlets instead (they are easier), and I think that Merlin is the obvious target for her anger at that particular moment. She's already had it out, so to speak, with Arthur, and Merlin is there and not bereaved as she is.
Aww (I am so sorry I missed this), what I so like about my drabble is how you paint this scene of her standing there, touching upon her father's memory and allowing herself that moment of anguish. In the show she just seems so well contained, modest and such. This shows her pain and the missing of her dad so well! Thanks honey!

I love writing drabbles, though. The challenge to get a story in 100 words is fun.

Thank you! I think Gwen hides a lot, partly because of her position but also because she does genuinely seem to care more for others than herself.
