Well, it's not exactly the best atmosphere ever, but it's cheap, can handle a crowd, and the food at Udupi Palace is pretty great, and some of the best South Indian food outside of, well. India. But that may not be your bag, and you may want to go someplace a little more upmarket. :D

I have my writing workshop, alas, and will be recovering from a too-rare trip to the dentist, so I'll have to be there in spirit instead.
