Would it KILL my stylist to let his clients know when he leaves a salon? Every time I call for an appointment, I half-suspect they'll tell me he's gone. And about half the time, I'm right. For ten-plus years now, I've gone through this with him.

I'm like some lovelorn duck...

Most of the time stylists can't take client info from the salon with them. Unless he's an independent contractor rather than a salon employee, in which case he's got no excuse. ;)

Oh, he's an independent contractor. Has been at several of the salons where he's worked. But since I only see him every six months or so, I think maybe he doesn't keep as good track of me when he moves as clients he sees more frequently.

Or possibly he's just flakey.

Anyway, I was really hoping to get my hair cut this week, but I don't think it's happening!
