This is a prime example of inner-brain hilarity/stupid old habits....the MINUTE I got the tickets, I texted Gayalithiel and told her, I was so excited - - and INSTANTLY, after sending the text, I got a weird robot call, 'from the IRS, filing a lawsuit against me' - !!! - I thought it was HER, it was that quick - IMMEDIATELY, knee-jerkily, I go - 'INSTANT KHARMA, OMG WOE PUNISHMENT FOR SPENDING MONEY ON FRIVOLOUS TIX, WTF, BLAH BLAH WHINE WHINE' and texted her THAT......My phone rang one more time, and it was Gaya, telling me that that is a popular scam and it was going around where she is, and to look it up, L M A O. And it was.
Oh dear. We've been getting those dumb calls for a year now. The callers are usually Indian and don't even get the name of the IRS correct. We get a good laugh. But sorry you got a bit of a scare! It's weird the first time you get one.
