SasuSaku FST: Looking for Artists

Hello there, everyone! I've recently started making a SasuSaku FST (fan soundtrack) and have, with little trouble, uploaded all the songs into a file hosting site (Megaupload). SasuSaku was the first pairing that I came across in the Naruto fandom and inevitably, people become somehow attached to their first pairing and can't let go of it easily,

I would like to help you :D. I'm good at doing images and I would love to help you n_n if you wanted. Mostly everything that is made in my journal is mine own grahic work :D.

Oh, that's wonderful! And yes, I'm familiar with your graphics too - I often see you post them to sasusaku. Anyway, do you have anything in mind for the album cover? Or anything you'd like to ask/share? If so, go right ahead and tell me!

I'm so excited for this! Thank you so, so much for taking the time to do this! It's not often that I get to work with artists these days, since my interest has shifted to writing lately!

Yeah, I'm listening to the songs right now :D. So can I be inspire, besides I love all the songs, and you had right they are so much sasusaku! Also if is not possible, I will use the third and the last image :D I mostly can connect at this hour in particular, because of my work.

Haha! It seems we have something in common! Listening to songs, I find, is very inspiring! And sure, I've checked out that image and if you want to use that image then go ahead - all I ask is that you somehow merege in a few of the images already provided, in order to keep the 'feel' of the songs!

What I'm trying to say is that go all out - anything you do with the images at your disposal, it's fine with me! I trusts your judgement - I only ask that you keep the 'angsty' feel to the cover! I'm sure whatever you come up with will be awesome!

Aww. I really wish I could help, really I do, but I don't have photoshop or anything like that. :/ BUt I got to hand it to you, you found some pretty awesome wallpapers. If there's anyway to help without using photoshop, I'd love to know!

Lol! Oh, you don't know the horrors I had to go through just to get those wallpapers! I've developed a disdainful regard for neon pink and blue, especially when they're together! On top of that, my PC runs at the pace of a snail, so yes, it was tiring, but worth it.

Well, maybe you can help me somehow - I don't know how to edit an image without photoshop. I tried editing it with photobucket's online facilities but they all freeze on me after a few minutes and it's impossible to control the tools with my cursor. When I tried moving the cursor, the response timing was just so off that I ended up butchering the images instead of prettifying them! Blah... *eternal sulkation* XD

I don't want you to feel obligated to help or somehting, but maybe you could look up the lyrics of the individual songs for me? Especially the lyrics for Riding on the Rocks. Download links to that song are rare on the net - I still remember how much hassle I had to go through to get that file - and yes, I've found lyrics for the song, but when I try to sing

I'm sorry about your computers speed, it sounds terrible. My computer does that to sometimes. It gets very annoying.

Well, I especially wanted the lyrics for Riding for the Rocks but lyrics for the other songs would be just awesome too, if it's not too much to ask.

And the post you were talking about would't happen to be the one with the snowman, would it? If so, I have to say you have every right to be proud of yourself because damn, it was so huggable!!

I know I really like that picture with the blue and pink sky and the tree, and I know that the title is perfect and very much inspiring. I'm going to see what happens mostly, when I try adding stuff that looks nice together, but I don't have an image I'm working toward yet...

it was created by lalagirl208. she used that for the Sasusaku FC contest last 2007 (and i think she won in that category?)

:D i think you need to go to SasuSaku FC: Under the Same Sky as more artists and sasusaku fans are active in this forum. There is also a massive collection of doujins, images and sources. Beside erendhyl is an active member of the forums. The Under the Same Sky theme is derived from Sakura's cover page of chapter 269, which says: So long as we live under the same sky - silently and strongly, for that day, I wait

:D i'm being sappy when it comes to music choices (like I'm listening to the Under the Same Sky by Leah Dizon [translated lyrics], which sometimes makes me ♥) and I have no talent in regards to arts, so i hope giving you some sources can help.XD

I'll go credit lala208 right away - seriously, I think out of all the omages on the post, this one's my favourite! There's just something about the background and the shading... *happy sigh*

And of course! The SasuSaku FC - do you think someone will volunteer to do the lyrics page? And the credits page? I mean, vejibra is already doing the cover art, so...

I just checked out the video and I have to say, it was so, so beautiful! Especially the opening - I have a thing for people's eyes, you see. Eyes are the most beautiful part of the human body! Or maybe I'm just saying that because I've an unhealthy obsession with Sasuke's Sharingan XD

I'm quite interested in helping you out with this endeavor, mostly because music contributes so much to my writing style as an author. ^^ I'm willing to do the lyrics page if you haven't had someone volunteer already.

Hi again! I really appreciate that you want to help - it's so wonderful to see how dedicated everyone is to SasuSaku, seriously! But unfortunately, the lyrics pages are already done! cruixe_chan volunteered already, almost two weeks ago - and it's only now that I've had the chance to organise everything and post the FST! But thanks anyway for offering to help! I really do appreciate it!

(Btw, I meant to reply sooner, but I've been without the net for a while now ... and it's frustrating! And yes, music greatly influences my writing as well! It's like this well of inspiration for me, I suppose! That Vampire Knight icon is nice - I'm taking that you're into that manga?)
