Beautifully written; I love your use of repetition to set the pace, and those final sentences at the end of each scene really drove the tragic tone home. Your descriptions are spot on, too, and it's always refreshing to see an author who knows how to bend the rules of grammar to his/her advantage.

I love Masaomi, but I had the hardest time getting through the end of the anime because my heart kept breaking every five minutes for him, Mikado and Anri. I hope they all find their happy endings ;___;

This was very poetic! Its so cool you did this in second person, too. Pleasure to read. Kida is one of the most interesting characters. And thanks for writing him gen :]

Oh, thanks so much man! Kida is probably my favourite character in DRRR!! because he's one of the more complex characters (which is saying something since they're all pretty complex).

Kida IS! he has like several layers of masks, and he's also really dynamic. So many character don't change who they are, but Kida went from being probably something like child!mikado to streetsmart, to something like a king, to something like a lovesick bird, to one of those people who builds a world of lies that he only has one foot in.

A lot of times in the anime, he dissappears, like remember when anri's shoes mysterious feel to the pavement? He said he knew who did it and walked away really scary. He sometimes almost reminds me of Izaya, only, with a heart?

EXACTLY. There was such a huuuuuge change towards the end (well not really change, it was just concealed but yeah) and seriously the last few episodes they broke my heart so much KIDA sobs.

ranting is always good for the soul.
