thank you thank you for posting this...we had a slight technical difficulty at the party i was at and we missed everything from sean penn's speech on....(the cable flipped channels to record shows on the dvr right after they announced that sean penn had won).

i was so excited that he won - i thought they'd give it to mickey rourke...but even more thrilled that he made such an elegant, thoughtful speech. did you see/hear the speech from the screenwriter for milk who won? excellent and touching as well

wow. just wow. i was at work during all of this. i saw him win but i had to walk away and get more ice tea or make a drink or something.
