remember how much i hated my old apartment? remember how the landlord was a slumlord and never did anything for her tenants? remember how she harassed me about my cats (though i signed a lease that allowed for two of them), constantly tried to raise the rent illegally and often tried to collect new "deposits" from me (years after i moved in)?
