Here's what I have come to believe.
High school is there to ignite your dreams. College is there to stifle them.
In high school, you learn your interest, you discover your gifts, you establish your passion. In college, your interests become mandated, your gifts are exhausted, and your passion is compartmentalized.
In high school, your teachers can become part of your life, they can get you excited, see what is in you, and fan the flame. In college, your professors disect to your dreams and demand your participation.
I'm not ungrateful. I'm just disappointed.
