I went to see 9 tonight as well, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and thought it quite well done. Then again, I also tend to not get really hyped up for most movies, so it wasn't a let down of expectations, in my case.
Was disappointed in how short it was, but when you consider that it's based off an 11-minute short, it's understandable.
I'm not going to read this post until I see Nine but I have to say... when I first heard about Where the Wild Things Are I couldn't care less about seeing it, but now that I've seen the trailers it looks fucking awesome. If Spike Jonze can give the whole movie the feeling captured in the trailers it's going to be sooooo good. It looks like everything I love about movies like The Royal Tenenbaums and The Virgin Suicides and The Squid and the Whale all rolled into this precious magical package. I can't wait!!!
