When I was growing up my mom would sometimes get tired around 7 at night if she had a busy day. So instead of relaxing or maybe going to bed early, she would go shopping or find some task to do until it was the Appropriate Bed Time For Adults. When I was in Kabul, both my room mates played Civ so you'd get these surreal comments.

"Oh you think you got me with your Immortals? Fuck You Persia!"

That or we'd all start bitching about how we all hated the Aztecs and the like.

BTW, I was playing the Fall From Heaven mod; there are no Vampire lords in regular Civilization.
