If it's really his clothes and not his armpits, that's an easier discussion...

Here's one idea- Can you pretend to have a conversation with a coworker about your "new favorite detergent" as he passes by, pull him into the conversation with "hey- what brand are you using?", then offer to bring him a sample of your detergent because it's just "THAT GOOD!"
