The feminist movement has disappointed me for a long time. It has accomplished many very important good things, but too many feminists have very screwed up attitudes on sexual matters, sometimes with very harmful consequences.

True, feminism seems to have real issues with women who work in the sex trade, whether legal or not.

And why when it's forced prostitution is it white slavery? As opposed to when there were blacks enslaved, which was sometimes sexual sometimes not? So calling it 'white slavery' means it's a different kind? It is all slavery.

"White slavery" is/was? a well know if archaic and ironic term that got it's start over the various "panics" that happened in Europe/America over the idea that non-white or lower class men might be having sex with "pure" white-women.

It has extremely raciest and classist conations as well as being very demeaning to women in general. It implies that women of a certain class and caste are some sort of childish and incompetent trophies who have no mind or will of their own and therefore must at all times be "saved" and "protected" by men, religious leaders and people of the upper classes and superior education and moral values (for example the lunatic fringe of the Feminist movement).

And other than in times of war or when already held in conditions of general bondage (which is primarily an economic crime) were it actually happens, "forced prostitution" is primarily a myth. The overwhelming majority of people (men and women) who are in the sex trade are there voluntarily ( ... )
