I spent this weekend on Orcas Island.  Tessa and I were visiting her uncle and grandmother who live there.  We had an amazing time.  It was the first weekend in awhile that I've been able to have a really relaxing (albeit short) vacation.  This summer I've been working six days a week (5 at the Woodland Park Zoo, and 1 at Sears) plus house managing

that bookstore must have been darvill's! sounds like a lovely time you had up there. i sometimes wish i knew someone with a house up on orcas so we didn't always have to camp, but it's not so bad. anything to be on orcas. i'll be there four nights starting thursday!
