Thanks! It's nice to hear from you as well. I am very well, though a quick browse of your LJ it seems you've had some kind of mishap. How are you?
I don't think I ever stopped wanting to be a part of fandom. Other life things just overshadowed it for a time. A good long time. But I always missed it.
Yes, I broke my foot over a month ago; I'm okay but still healing. :)
Yeah, that happens. Around the time my son first came home, I faded out of fandom for a few years. I was still here on LJ but not writing anything or doing anything particularly fannish. It happens.
You had a lot of big changes going on when you were last around, as I recall, and I hope they've all turned out swimmingly. :)
Yes, I was getting married I think (now I am happily over two years in!). And I was pursuing a teaching degree and now I am just over two years into my teaching career as well. Got my own little group of grade 2s!
Not as much as I was; busy pro writing but it's more that I don't have a fandom I'm passionate about and want to write. Never been between fandoms this long :-(
Aww I know how you feel. In the past few years i have had shows/movies that I really enjoyed and followed religiously, but nothing that made me take that one step farther into fandom. I was also daunted by trying to find my way back in after so long too.
Yep, still in France. I'm doing a Masters at the moment :-) Things are good. My boyfriend and I adopted a dog two months ago. He's the biggest sweetie ever.

Each person's need for fandom comes and goes, but it's a magical place, I think. :)
