one thing is puzzling me a little. Is this Hugh!Bertie or not? Blond hair would indicate not Hugh, but piano playing definitely implies Hugh.

It's sort of an amalgam. Bu you're right, I'm going to change it. It was an unconscious reaction to all of the stories that have Bertie with golden, curly locks. Neither of them do!
