Mimori rolled the flower stem around her index finger and thumb. It's white petals were beautiful and soft on her cheeks as she carefully dragged it across her lips, careful not to ruin the delicate flower.
He had sent her gardenias, or Kuchinashi, to be precise. Why? She had no idea. A thank you, perhaps. In her mind she recalled the sweet kiss and embrace they had shared just last night. Mimori couldn't help but feel baffled though. It wasn't like him to show affection, much less go through the trouble of sending her flowers.
This new Ryuho was beginning to revert to her old Ryuho more and more each and every day. She giggled at the thought as she returned to her room, eager to put her newly received bouquet in a vase.
