I still don't get the concept of "bronies", it is so male-centric. For a show that is a really positive example of female ponies being friends. I don't begrudge men watching the show, it is a good show. I do wonder about the nickname being so "bro." So many other nerdy hobbies, or hobbies in general, default to being male, or default to having male gendered terms.

Edit: I've been told that bronies are only the MALE fans of MLP:FIM show and I wonder, well why do they need a day of appreciation. Male nerds have every single day to be appreciated for every other hobby they are interested in.

While I feel bad that male nerds get made fun of for liking a "girl" show, because that's a lot of gross gendering culture, I think the idea of appreciating male fans of a show does little to register my sympathy or admiration.

Saw Deathly Hallows Part 2 last night! It was really fun, the theater we went to did a double feature of both parts, which was nice, since I hadn't seen the first. Both were appropriately epic and I cried!

This was my first midnight showing in a loooooooong time (since...The Dark Knight, I think, and btw I just lol'd during The Dark Knight Rises preview, tbh) and I thought I could have some plans this morning at 11, but uh, considering that it's 11 and I'm sitting here...yeah, I had to cancel. Which is sad! But rescheduling may happen, so that's good.

Other than that, I've finally started playing AC Brotherhood again after putting it down for awhile. It's very fun, Ezio is just a huge DICK in the beginning and it made me all :| But I just finished his little memory of how he first met Cristina and I SERIOUSLY CRIED DURING IT OMG. IDK, Brotherhood is fun, but I still think AC2 will be my favorite when I'm done. We shall see!

Why can't they just let this project die?
