The scales fell from my eyes (well, okay, they weren't that scaly to begin with) regarding Blizzard when someone in this community said 'Blizzard puts breasts on everything' and I knew it was true. Haven't played D3 - to be honest it looked completely boring to me, and I see I haven't missed out on much.

I think this article is pretty simplistic and misses a lot of points ( ... )

Thank you for pointing out stuff I missed the first time around.

What you've mentioned about Deckard Cain I never actually thought about and it makes sense to me. Also, I seriously LOVE the female Barbarian ... I think I may take a break from my WD to work on her.

I loved Tyrael's story arc and seriously wanted to punch all the other angels by the end of it. Tyrael is awesome, and him NOT being just another white dude helped with that, IMO.

La la la not thinking clearly 'cause cold meds so I'm going to flip-flop a LOT I'm sure.

If you take all the clothes off your female DH, she's wearing underwear. If you take all the clothes off your male DH, you find that, bafflingly, he was wearing another set of clothes under them. Come on, Blizzard, give me the opportunity to use invisible dye to make shirtless archer dudes instead of just hiding my ugly gear.

feminine stereotypes of the worst kind: knowledgeable, dangerous, sexual Adria

Making a capable, adversary also be a woman is bad?

I was catching up on season six of NuWho and the first thought that popped into my head when I saw those descriptors was "Hey, that also pretty much describes River Song".

For me, that's not bad but I noticed that there's a "price" for being a knowledgeable, dangerous, sexual woman and it's often death. You only get to pick one if you're a woman otherwise you're not allowed to live, even if you aren't the antagonist!

Except Adria never dies in D3 that we know of. She just kind of disappeared. I smell an expansion.
