Due to some unforeseen circumstances on my part, the encore round drabbles were never posted. But here they are now, just in time for AELDWS 2015! Thank you once more to all the authors for participating, and we hope to see you all again for this year's round.
Title: A Dish Best Served Hot
Author:
eternalsojournWarnings: Blue balls
Summary: Arthur exacts revenge for Eames’s workplace cheekiness.
“In three minutes you’ll have my tongue in your ass.” Arthur’s words send Eames’s teaspoon clattering across the counter. From behind Arthur strokes Eames’s growing bulge. Arthur spins him around and drops. He fake bites Eames’s erection with a wolfish grin and carries on teasing.
The doorbell rings. Without even a harrumph Arthur hurries away. Eames stares gormlessly.
“Mom! Dad!” Jackets rustling mix with murmured pleasantries. Eames hurriedly tries to will his erection down.
When Arthur comes back, Eames expresses the betrayal with a look.
“Next time don’t fellate pens at me during client meetings,” Arthur whispers with a grin.

Title: at ready
Author: embarrassedpokerface
Warnings: N/A
Summary: Eames feels pretty shitty.
“No thanks,” Eames croaked at the door, hunched miserably on the sofa. When the knocking started up again, Eames raised his voice. “I said, no-” He devolved into a series of hacking coughs that left him retching reflexively.
“That’s disgusting.”
Eames had a gun up and ready without a second’s thought and- he blinked in surprise as Arthur easily plucked it from his hand.
“You look worse than you sounded over the phone,” Arthur said.
“What are you doing here?”
Arthur just looked at him, his brow furrowing. “Taking care of you.”
“I- Oh.” Eames blinked again. “Well. Alright, then.”

Title: prologue
Author: nifeandaccurate
Prompt: "That isn’t particularly reassuring." (genre: pre-movie)
Warnings: none
Summary: This is how it begins: with a theft and crossed fingers.
"Are you sure this will work?" Eames whispers from where he's pressed against the inner wall of a military compound.
Arthur shrugs, hands otherwise occupied with lock picks.
"That isn’t particularly reassuring," Eames sighs. They push open the door and steal to the corner where the dreamshare technology is kept.
"Once you pull out the PASIV, the system's going to go haywire," Arthur says. "You ready?"
"Of course."
They grin at each other.
As Eames grabs the PASIV and they both start running, the alarms go off behind them. By the time the guards get there, they'll be long gone.

Title: In The Face of Fury
Author:
lezzerleePrompt: Unexpected
Warnings: Mentioned past child abuse, very vague.
Summary: Hammersmith learns a few things about his teammates.
Hammersmith's balks at the unexpected fury in Eames' eyes, the cold, controlled measure of his voice like a glove wrapping around his throat. "We are not taking a man back to his abusive childhood," Eames says.
"You suddenly grow a conscience?" Hammersmith snaps defensively. Eames’ face washes to a stony blank and Hammersmith's fight or flight instinct rears up like a panicked animal when suddenly, their new, skinny pointman breaks Eames’ sightline.
"Eames!" he shouts. "Outside, now!"
What’s more surprising than finding Eames’ moral threshold and Arthur stepping into the path of destruction, is the fact that Eames backs down.
