1. Round 3 will go live on Saturday, at 1 AM GMT.

2. Details are still being worked out, but author and artist sign-ups for the Big Bang Challenge will commence on August 14.

For the Big Bang, do authors come up with their own original plot, or are they assigned prompts?

Authors choose their own plots, definitely. The prompt post is just for authors that are looking to be inspired or don't have an idea yet.
