We are a large game that has been in-play for two years. This naturally means that Muns have come and gone as interest waxes and wanes. We are eager and willing to help new players get settled in, but having an understanding of the starting foundation of the game is particularly helpful for everyone.
We do not want someone to attempt to mimic previous Mun's playing style, but it is often necessary to keep certain plot-points pertaining to the character involved because it has a broad-game effect.

This topic will review the important game-history points for this character.
Neville is a Herbologist, and a very good one, presently working for St. Mungo's, though he is also in the process of developing hybrids of his beloved Mimbulous Mimbletonia. Originally, this was simply a hobby, but Snape learnt of the research and contacted Neville about it. As there is a copious quantity of the sap produced by the plant, it would be a very valuable potions ingredient if it could be combined with other healing/soothing characteristics from other plants.
Snape is presently paying Neville a monthly stipend to help fund Neville's breeding and research process, as well as thorough testing and documentation of all samples Neville provides for him as they might relate to Potions brewing, in exchange for 'exclusive' first-rights to the finished product. This is not an amicable interaction, per se, but it is a coolly polite business arrangement.

Neville has spent quite a bit of time in the company of his fellow Gryffindors off and on throughout the game, though he is still very shy and somewhat retiring.

He was awarded the Order of Merlin for his successful capture of Bellatrix Lestrange toward the end of the war, and was also named one of Witch Weekly's Top Ten most Eligible Bachelors, which meant he also participated, reluctantly, in the Bachelor/Bachelorette auction held on Halloween Night.
His Grandmother is still alive and well, and seems to continue to have some level of 'influence' over Neville's behaviours.
As always, we are looking for players with a long-term game commitment in mind - this is not a game to join because you have a month off between wild and hectic University Semesters. Mature, high-quality writing style with strong attention to canon personality while having a creative sense of making Neville your 'own' character is a must.
