Meanwhile, Eames is drinking what looks like his second beer. He has his tie undone and he is leaning against the bar, studying Arthur. Arthur can tell, because he might not notice people, but he notices things, and Eames' eyes are things, and they are all over him, tracing his every lazy-frantic drunken move

Thanks, I'm glad. I think Arthur probably curses a lot. He curses in canon, and I can't get it out of my head that he'd be that way--especially drunk. <3

Oh, thank you for this. I loved the snark and tension and banter between them. Your drunk!Southern!Arthur is such an adorably grumpy, protective little shit and gah, Eames! All patient and amused and indulgent in the face of Arthur's denial. I need more of these two in my life, seriously.
Basically, your fill was just wonderful, anon, and thank you for sharing so promptly :)

I don't know if you'll read this, because it's anonymous and you won't be getting an e-mail alert, but thank you for your comment. I'm glad you liked Southern!Arthur. He may be making an appearance in a sequel soon. I'd love to write it, it's just finding the time.

No worries, I do have a journal but tend to remain anon just...because I'm awkward like that.
Anyhows, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to read more if you do find the time to continue writing (I can relate; I would love to spend more time working on fic but can't because I should really be studying especially with exams around the corner, fml.)
If it's not a hassle, would you mind linking back to here if/when a sequel is imminent? Just so we don't miss it :)
