Honestly, Eames doesn't know why everyone thinks Arthur is the reasonable one of the team. Dude is crazy.

And okay, yes, they're all a little crazy. Ariadne went from being a mild mannered 20 year college student to committing gun-laden (sometimes treasonous) acts of corporate espionage with disturbing equanimity, Yusef regularly tests unknown chemical compounds on himself, Cobb has homicidal fantasies about his dead wife, and Eames...alright so Eames has a somewhat unsettling fondness for grenade launchers and maybe, maybe has a little too much fun pretending to be a woman sometimes.

But Arthur. Arthur is batshit insane. That's not to say that Eames doesn't totally love the little psychopath, he just wishes he wasn't the only one to notice it.

I simply love the crazy in this. Eames and Arthur in this fic remind me so hard of Hannibal and Murdock from A-Team, which is something I didn't think I would ever say, but is made of so much win.

Also, this?
It’s like they all start out with two scoops of crazy and then they fall into the job and it dumps a great big jar of crazy sauce on top. Except Arthur’s got some crazy sprinkles on there too. And nuts. And maybe some homicidal gummi bears. It occurs to Eames that this is maybe not the best metaphor he has ever come up with.

Made me laugh so. hard.

crazy Arthur is actually my favourite person in the world...the dead rat bit? I could not stop laughing and re-reading it...this whole fic is AMAZINGLY well done, and I love that Eames, while noticing the crazy, doesn't really CARE about the crazy, he just goes along with it, while Arthur doesn't even think about anything, he only sees Eames and thinks....MINE!

(although, I see alot of myself in crazy Arthur...which is somewhat disconcerting...)
