a little Shop Around the Corner, a little CL, a little size/cuddle kink:

post-Fischer, the team is so busy running jobs that Arthur's got nothing left for a real relationship (not that he'd ever date Eames in any case, no, seriously)-- so instead he signs up for a gay roleplaying & correspondence forum and reluctantly hits it off with one of the bears there looking for a twink. Eames won’t leave him alone.

To be honest, for every bit of Arthur that’s feeling annoyed about this, there is another part of him that feels grateful; there are very few jobs that wouldn’t be helped greatly by the presence of a forger, and Eames happens to be the best. Arthur doesn’t waste much time lamenting the fact that he’s been able to work with a consistently excellent forger for the past few jobs. But sometimes, on days like today, he has to clench his fingers tightly on his notebook and remind himself of Eames’ brilliance.

“What do you suggest we do, then?” Cobb asks politely enough considering the situation. Eames has just shot down the last five ideas they had.
