Pixel was used to being the first one in in the mornings, though it was only her first week on the job, having replaced the prior chemist. She was used to being a pinch hitter like that, so it didn't bother her any. In any case she was startled to find Arthur already there, and slumped forward with the computer still on.

Of course, it only took her a moment to realize that he'd fallen asleep and there was now foul play involved. She smiled, shaking her head and unplugging the keyboard so that he wouldn't end up with a jumble of keymash in the middle of his notes, thumbing off the monitor to cut down on the light as well before meandering her way to the makeshift kitchen she'd set up on her first day in, starting the water heating for tea.
