Tried putting together a quilt top in the "Courthouse Steps" pattern. It actually looks rather good. I must remember this one. Three cheers for rolls of pre-cut strips in toning shades.

Not that I've been paying attention to the plot for months, but I like your thinking. It certainly makes sense out of how this chapter played. But then, this is Kubo, so who knows.

(but damn, given how Renji and Byakuya look, I just wanna see Hisagi ... and then I might forgive Kubo for the past year)
