Ukitake's zanpakutou manifested in Waking Up for a bit to tell them to turn the drugs off.

*grins at the last*

That's the right amount of paranoia, I think.

What, Kyouraku and Ukitake aren't your favourites? Awwww.

Aizen hasn't got the king's key yet, no. He's just conquered Seireitai. (Just.)

No comment on the trustworthiness of Hinamori, on Byakuya being turned into a Hollow, or any of these other interesting points. :)

I do love your Nanao, always have, always will, I'm sure. Between her love of order and capacity to do what needs to be done, and her ability to absorb so much so quickly... but still be very conscious of who she is. It's always good to read how you write her.

Especially her vow to find Shunsui on the Other Side to give her a piece of her mind. And how she deals with what's in front of her.

I really loved how she could shut things out with the simple back and forth of logical discussion, too.

Now we'll see if I can keep the momentum of this part.

There are so many little moments in this that emphasize how the situation is just wearing away at everyone--Isane's response to Nanao's overture, the way Ukitake suddenly lashes out in irritation at being treated like an invalid.

Absolutely. And putting tar-paper on the roof to stop the drips does not cure any of these things.

Amazing as always.

Ukitake-taichou and Sasakibe-fukutaichou both sat there, with the patience of commanding officers who were used to getting reports ranging from "it's the end of the world" to "salaries are being given out early and with bonuses".

A favorite line.

So Momo was "Peaches" from Ikkaku's crew? Interesting.

Aw, Hitsugaya? For real? Aw, shucks :( At least Kyouraku is properly mourned :(

Also, enquiring minds want to learn what happened to Ken-chan and Byakuya and... well, in our own time, right? Well, your own time, rather :)

Recced the story, btw. Hope it will give it one or two new readers.

I'm sure the information will come out, sooner or later, and I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

Perhaps Grimmjow will give an intelligent, well-observed, commentary on recent events and current affairs in HM? . . . or perhaps not.

Thanks for the rec: very kind of you.
