i also don't typically fanmode over idols, much less if they are pop-ish, and i thought i would never have any idols since Gackt and Shinya.

...Masa really changed all that, however XD. But that boy... really deserves all the love he can get!

so i really thank you guys who can translate for us, and who can express the feeling to him we not able fans happen to share with you. how we wish we could do that ourselves=___=;; (the japanese language... a struggle! lol)

and that surreal imagery you put in at the end... i share the sentiment^^;;. and "painful" is quite the operative word here. haha. it's also like making a blog you're not sure people actually read and affect them as you get no comments, but still you do it anyway XD. -->this is LOVE!

I know, right? I think all people who work hard in this industry deserve appreciation, but he's so honest and down-to-earth about it, it just makes me go <33333333.

Japanese is a struggle, but it's a fun struggle! :D Though sometimes I feel like throwing my books against the wall too. :3

Yeah, I kinda think it works the other way too - and he'll have to get used to this situation now, not always knowing if people are reading or not. :)

I hear you, I *know* Japanese is hard. Some people just aren't predisposed to master it - and that has nothing to do with slacking or not - even most of the fluent speakers I know still claim that they never stop studying, even now. It's a bit of a "life-long learning" thing. :3

But it's great that you still have the desire to start it again! I wish you all the energy and luck!! :)

First of all, I gotta say that I'm proud of you for how high you scored in your exam. It's a bit sad that you didn't made the cut in, but still being in the top ten of your country is such an accomplishment

I had lot of people tell me the same thing, but you know how it is. :) One tends to dwell on how it's still not enough with 7 people still being better then me.

Well, I'm still not any different from all the other girls who are gushing and commenting at any opportunity - and I don't even feel that way. Maybe I stand out just a tiny bit because of having a foreign name (and the occassional grammar mistake xD), but apart from that... :) Then again, I hope he IS motivated by knowing that overseas fans keep an eye on him as well. :)

Oh God, the mobile site terror. xD I considered the possibility too. When they first announced the Oricon thing, I was like "...please please tell me that's not a mobile site. DDD:" You're right, it could be worse. xD

I think, regardless of his blog being comment-less now, you should still send him letters like these because I just KNOW that he will treasure them dearly (and you know how much he loves the international fans ;DDDD)

He has had so many hardships and he's tried to push them away and not let them interfere, bless him. But they end up taking their toll after a while and when you're in a business where personality and image is everything, it can really really sucker punch you and make you feel horrid (even though you don't show it). I'm preparing myself for such things because I will have to face this too one day, in my line of work. Y'know what they say, you could get 100 great reviews and only 1 bad review but you will always dwell on the bad one. If he gets peace of mind from blogging and getting no harassment back, I think we'll see a much happier Masa, and that's a good thing for everyone! ^u^ I'm sure even if someone sends him abusive letters his staff will bin them in a heartbeat

Owwwww poor Masa ;o; it's such a shame that things had to turn out this way. Just keep sending him your wonderful letters, they may not be as instant as hitting a button and writing a comment but at least it made the journey to reach him all the way from where you are. ♥

Awww you're welcome ^o^ it sucks when the closest communication you have with someone you love is taken away. It's hard but at least it hasn't been completely taken away. Hang in there huni ♥♥♥

Now that I've tried translating myself (more of Chinese to English cos' my Japanese is still at a far too basic level), I understand what you're saying by trying to be as accurate as possible.

Did you do okay for the exam that will let you go Japan for exchange?

It's good that we have idols to motivate us ne? ;) *huggles*

The exchange exam is what didn't work out this year, but I'm definitely trying again next year. :)

No, I only use JWPCE, which is basically a word editor, but with a built-in dictionary function, so you can look up words within the text. I also have an electronic dictionary with a lot of thesauruses, cause it's essential for university work. :)

I usually don't trust online translators, but I checked this Excite one, and it seems to be pretty good. I know Babelfish is *terrible*, though.
