Japanese idols do the darndest things.

I think I overdosed on Nagayan a bit. *is dizzy*

All this ON-OFF naming led me believe that it's constructed like the *pnish* shows - with the actual stuff happening in ON and any "making of" part going to the OFF. So evidently, I went with ON.

I ended up watching Nagayan putting out for one and a half hour and now I kinda feel like a perv.

And people actually buy that stuff?! That's a rather mind-boggling concept...perhaps it's supposed to give the fans a fake sense of actually knowing their idols in a 'hey, i haven't just seen him/her on stage but rolling around half-naked on the beach as well!' kinda way? Or maybe it's some kind of porn light?XD

Actually, the ON part IS professional on purpose, since it's a photoshoot and the making of a PV, the private parts are on the OFF part (but I haven't watched that yet).

But you're right, if it's supposed to give off a feeling of "ooh, how private", then actually it's anything but. This is his profession, and it shows.

But it makes me unconfortable when I see him doing things one would do in private or as a goof, and KNOWING that he does it as a full pro. Even the smile. He's such a baby perfect doll. DD:

As for who buys it... my mind kept flashing OLD PERVY GAY MEN. OLD PERVY GAY MEN. xDDDDD (But no, Japanese fangirls eat this stuff up.)

LOL! But it's probably not that far off. Gay men are usually a more well-funded target group than little girls, so it doesn't hurt to appeal to them. Just ask the producers of western boybands why they made all those singing in the rain while wearing transparent shirts videos!XD

The Japanese boyband thing (called Johnny's Boys) is another phenomenon in itself. There they don't even deny the gay undertones.

(But seriously. There were boxer pictures with leg-warmers. *Schoolgirl style* leg-warmers. Uke-manga stereotype much? Jeesus, Nagayan. D:)

Really?! I was waiting for someone to actually refute me by saying "Oh, his other DVDs are way different, it's just this one!" Guess it's not, then.

I'll definitlely check the photographer, because I think the pictures are gorgeous. So he does do this racier stuff then.

I know the pnish comparison is way off, as they are definitely not in the idoru category. I just brought it up because I remembered that the Panic Days photobook had some fanservicy stuff - not unlike Nagayan's bed rolling - so I wondered if they actually do it too. :))))

But yeah, being a stand-alone in this business must be tough. For that, Nagayan manages pretty well and STILL does more worthwhile stuff then a lot of other idols. :)

I'm with you on the gossip thing. There's nothing else here about "stars", but gossip. The European tabloids are horrible and 90% of it is trash. :///

really XDD i'm sure it's around, so try and find a download for "Blossam" XDD it'll kill your eyes within seconds :P

i found his blog for you, and... i don't believe i could read that next to my mum DDDDD:

i know the other people in tenimyu have photobooks and stuff, but i've never actually downloaded one, coz i don't like them XDD

it's the same in hong kong. unlike usa where most of the tabloids go on about drugs and stuff, we go on about adultery, scandals... everything >___>
