Dear Juanri,

I heard from Bembong (Do you call her Bembong or Claire there in NZ?) that you’re having a baby soon! Congratulations! Motherhood literally changed my life and my self. WOW.

I didn't write (coz I'm evil like that). But had I written, it would have just been - when you feel like you want to shake/kick/throw the baby, it's time to give the baby to someone else and take a nap.

super helpful, ins! especially the "giving birth" part. i have just watched a video of a live natural birth a few minutes, and i can't get the images out of my head. im 37weeks and 3 days today... i can't wait to hold mariana in my arms, but a part of me is scared about the pain of delivery. plus the fear of the unknown... when will labor start kicking in? will it be a normal delivery or C-section? how long will i be in labor? is mariana doing okay in there? hay. so many things swimming in my head, but really... i just can't wait to meet my baby girl!

thanks again for all the tips. seeing how wonderful your kids are, i know you're the person to go to for mommy tips. see you soon okay? :-)

Even if it was for Juanri, I had you and Cey in mind when I wrote this! I forgot to tell you about it lang. Haha! Hay naku, I know the feeling. When I had Lia, I was due Feb 15. I didn't want to give birth on Feb 14 (magiging kabirthday niya sina Kris Aquino at Heart Evangelista. Hello.) so on Feb 14 I stayed in bed all day. Feb 15, Gustong gusto ko nang manganak, Mike and I walked all over Glorietta ALL DAY! At 2 AM Feb 16 the contractions started. 8 AM I was in the hospital already. Fast forward lots of labor pains, I gave birth that night at 9PM. Diba? Ang saya!
