Family first

For those who are concerned, like my 2-3 readers, Lia is not sick anymore. Well, she still has a cough and is dripping snot out of her nose, but no more temperature. Appetite is more or less normal. She's still cranky but it's bearable now. After I faced her to the wall for throwing a tantrum yesterday, today when I said, "Don't cry." She didn't. ( Read more... )

that lia is fine already. :)

funny, i just saw a feature on "face the wall" as consequence of tantrums. seems to work pala.

there is really something about the realities of a woman, noh? we're always going through changes. from physical to emotional. while men are more or less steady physically after they reach puberty (except for the beer belly and what have yous), while we endure monthly pains and cycles and stuff like that. then there is the facing wifehood, womanhood... while men go through that... it's much less felt. tapos manganganak... struggle to go back to who we were, pero knowing na iba na.

so men shouldn't blame women for changing minds, or being too volatile! because we by nature's programming really are. hehe!

uyy... nagdadalaga? hahaha! it's true men don't seem to change much. like i used to say when i was single, date a 15 year-old, or a 40 year-old, there is NO DIFFERENCE! Until they decide to grow up and settle down, and even then, there's no getting rid of comic books and toys.

I imagine they would live such boring lives without us women to add spice and change to everything. On the other hand, as we go through all these changes, women also have our constants that get us through the long terms of our lives. Like, kahit iba na lahat, andyan pa rin ang mga kaibigan at pamilya mo. :)

hey, thanks for reading me! i have to admit, i haven't been reading other peoples blogs for a while. i barely have time to write, much less read.

thanks for the link too. Finance really interested me since I got married. I'm really lucky that Mike is financially savvy and has our finances all mapped out. We both have a good idea of what our assets are, and we have diversified investments. I'm not sure Mike will ever be able to "not work" but financial freedom is definitely attainable for us because neither of us are big spenders.

Talo talo na lang when we're sending children to school. It's not a big financial factor in the States because quality primary and secondary education can be free.
