Anyhoo, I was so happy to find The Cat in the Hat at a used books store, for P65! Ang saya! Brand new ones cost over a thousand pesos. I kid you not. Mike said they used to have a complete set of Dr ( Read more... )

I meant 50 bucks a CD ha, not P50 per boxed set. hehe. just so we're clear. Still, a couple of days later, Mike said it's the best P1000 he's spent in a while. ;)

Happy birthday Javi! And good job mommy Ces. ;)

They have another one, VCD yata, and each one contains more than one episode. I can't remember. It's not complete, but it's much cheaper. So, that's an alternative. Pero for us, the boxed set is like an investment already. Hehe. Good luck!

Kahit wala ka pang anak, pwede mong hiramin. They have this feature called Language Laboratory. It's like TV flash cards in different languages. Also one of the CDs, Baby Wordsworth makes you listen to poetry in different languages. I don't understand them, but I could tell which was German, Japanese, Chinese, etc. It is a cure to insomnia, I tell you!

:D Galing ni Carlo no? He was gunning for San Diego, but God had other plans. He'll have a PhD before he turns 30. It's so exciting.

What does Lia watch? Matthew loves On the Go (cars, planes, boats, trains). He's mapili though, some of the videos bore him. He's too hyper sometimes.

Well, so far we haven't seen them all yet. And usually just to get her to settle down to fall asleep. Last night we watched Baby Shakespeare. She stayed up through the entire video. I fell asleep in the middle of it. haha! When it ended, she woke me up. I turned off the TV and we both went to sleep. :)

andie got me into pocoyo on disney. ang sarap panoorin. :)

sana hindi totoo yung ADHD theory. yari ang pamangkin ko. pero in fairness, mukang 'di naman siya addicted. pabor lang talaga sa nag-aalaga ang tv every once in a while. :)
